About The Project
Future Allies aims to improve the way we deliver Allied Health student placements in the NDIS to make them more sustainable and effective for students, NDIS participants, providers, and Universities.
The project was funded by the Australian Government through the NDIS Sector Development Fund. We are immensely grateful to the Department of Social Services for their support throughout this project.
The project was a collaboration between University of Sydney, Flinders University, Monash University, and Curtin University. The Project Team brought together leading academics in the field from across these institutions.
To inform the resources develop for this site, research was conducted with NDIS participants, students, and providers across New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. You can learn more about the findings of the research in the Future Allies Report.
